The 2007 Session II Grand Prize Winners and Finalists have been announced! Congratulations to the Grand Prize Winners and Finalists!! What a GREAT group! Our 12 Grand Prize Winners will receive $5,000 in Project Studio Equipment from Godin, Roland/Edirol, Audio-Technica, Propellerhead, Ableton and Sibelius, as well as a $500 gift certificate to MusiciansFriend.com and an Apple iPod Shuffle. 2006 Maxell Song Of The Year Announced! Gaby Moreno, Ari Shine and Victor Indrizzo of Los Angeles made history as the first Latin category winners to take home the “Maxell Song of the Year” Award for their song “Escondidos”. They were presented with the $20,000 Maxell Song of the Year check at Roseland in New York City, where Fergie made a stop on her Verizon VIP Tour. For the first time, the winner of the coveted prize had the opportunity to open a show for an award winning multi-platinum artist.

Session I of the 2007 JLSC is now closed and we are accepting submissions for Session II. The entry deadline for Session II is December 15th, 2007 with the winners being announced on March 1st, 2008.

The John Lennon Educational Tour Bus will be joining Fergie on the Verizon VIP Tour from May 21 - June 21. Fergie will shooting exclusive content for Verizon's V Cast service on board the Bus. For more information on her tour dates and to get tickets to see Fergie Live, visit Fergievip.com.

The John Lennon Educational Tour Bus will be exhibiting at the 2007 NAB Show in Las Vegas April 16th - 19th. We will be open for publics, so stop by booth # N9437 and come on board. If you'll be at the show, you can sign up to win a stop at your station for the Lennon Bus.

Country Lennon Award Winner Zane Williams is awarded the 2005 Maxell Song of the Year. In addition to winning $5,000 in gear from Roland, Edirol, Audio-Technica and Brian Moore Guitars, 1,000 custom CDs from Disc Makers, a $500 gift certificate to MusiciansFriend.com and a $5,000 advance from EMI Music Publishing, Zane Will also take home $20,000 courtesy of Maxell.

The Lennon Bus we be at the Summer XGames in Los Angeles on August 3 - 6. We invite everyone to come check us out and get hands on with some of the latest technology in music video and audio equipment.
